Some days I realize that I don’t have this marriage thing down.
It’s a job. It’s work. It’s worth it. It ain’t easy.
That’s abou all I’m going to say about that.

I’m heading out this evening to celebrate picture_kept‘s birthday and looking forward to meeting new folks over a few pints of ice cream (not all to myself, mind you).

Been busy cleaning thus far today. All of the work on the house really made for a mess inside. Clay tracked various places, lots of dusty dirt. . .it’s hard to keep it immaculate, but I think I’ve got a good handle on the downstairs. I love the smell of Murphy’s Oil Soap:). . .it smells like clean.

The weather has finally turned fallish. Crisp and chilly this morning when I hit the farmer’s market, about 47 degrees. Perfect for a cup of coffee and a stroll through delicious fall produce. Not sure how many more weeks we’ll have of the growers . . .my favorite couple will probably be packing it in just before Thanksgiving now that they’ve had some frost out in West Virginia.

Pork chops and roasted squash for dinner tonight. Picked up an acorn squash, a delicato (at Giant) and some parsnips. Oh, and stove top stuffing on the side, most definitely. Very autumnal.

Yep. You’re exactly right about that – but it is definitely worth it.
