I could so go for a big ol’ basket of french fries right about now. . .
I want something deep fried more than you could possibly know.

guess I figured writing it down would get it off my mind.
oddly enough, it didn’t work.

  1. Mmmmmm. I can always eat french fries. Now you’ve got me thinking about them πŸ™‚

Nice music choice, by the way. I don’t find too many people listening to Blur, although their audience definitely expanded a bit in the U.S. after “Song 2” came out.

  2. Yeah. I more or less gave up fries (or deep fried foods) until the wedding. It’s a lot easier than giving up beer, but not as easy as I want it to be.

The Best of Blur is a nice compilation of stuff. I’m actually really partial to 13. . .songs like Coffee & TV and Tender hold special places in my heart.

be strong! have fries in Jamaica! it’s not the fries you want – put some gum in your mouth πŸ™‚ chew away and you’ll forget πŸ™‚

  4. And that video…that video is just scary πŸ™‚

Yeah, I remember that as well, but I don’t remember a lot of folks really liking Blur too much after that song πŸ™‚ I do remember a lot of people telling me how much they sucked and me telling a lot of people that that song really wasn’t very representative of their material.

Yeah, I actually ate a snack size container of cottage cheese instead. I suppose it was the salt I was wanting. It’ll do for now.

  6. Yeah, I used to listen to that one quite a bit in my younger days.
Fortunately I don’t have the need for devastating break up songs in my life anymore.

  7. Man, I couldn’t stand Girls & Boys. πŸ™‚

I knew several people who bought the Blur CD after Song 2 hit, boy were they disappointed. Ah, the days before mp3’s.

Coffee & TV is a song I like, though, and I also remember an equally disturbing video.

  8. There’s just nothing better than a big old helping of french fries. Greatest food ever invented I tell you. Err… wait. This probably isn’t helpful. Sorry about that.
