Today’s downward dog was a three-legged dog due to my malady.
The instructor also told me that I could do a half downward dog from my knees. ..
All in all, I think yoga helped my situation. Status of my tendons and ligaments–good.
Also, I got into my tree pose today and didn’t fall over. . .I didn’t have my foot all the way up, just on my calf, but hey, it’s a start (in other words, I didn’t quite look like my icon) Less flailing, more centering. . .I’m finding my quiet center.

I’ve got something in my eye at the moment. . .
but my achilles is feeling better. I will be attending yoga today but just not putting as much of myself into it as usual.
Then, perhaps some recumbent bike tomorrow or some walking
and I’ll be good to go on Saturday morning. . .just gotta remember to stretch afterwords and maybe ice it a little.

I think I may have aggrivated my Achilles yesterday while running. It’s hurty today and I’m not all that pleased with this situation. I’ve got a 5K that I’m signed up for on Saturday morning. . .and I’m hoping that if I stay off of it until then I’ll be ok for that day and then I’ll need to lay off running for a few weeks. Not good timing. I’m enjoying running and the weight loss benefits of it. But if I want to be able to run again and not be hobbled permanently, I need to listen to my body. man, this really sucks.
